Installation problems on OSX with FMPA9
I download the public beta 1.5 plugin put the PHP_Intel plugin on my Macbook into the Extensions folder. When I open FileMaker the PHP plugin doesn't show up in my Plug-Ins tab and in scripts where I've used it it says function missing.
I've been using it great on my windows machines.
video tells the info
Looking at the tutorial video, I can see that the script has a March 1, 2008 expiration for the Beta Tester license. I assume a 30 day evaluation will resolve my license issues.
Thanks,
Mike
Yep, that should do the trick
The license in the testbed file is just an example and was only good during the beta release. Your trial license is on it's way and should do the trick.

hmmm...
well, this is interesting. I just installed the PPC version and it does load fine. I do indeed have an Intel Macbook, though.

??????????
Open using Rosetta checked?
Take a look at the info for the application file and see if the checkbox for “Open using Rosetta” is checked?
I gave that a try here and as expected, the Intel plug-in won't load. I then tried it with the PPC version of the plug-in and it does load. My guess is that "Open using Rosetta" somehow got turned on?

Installation problems on OSX with FMPA9
Hello Andrew,
To help troubleshoot, it would be great if you could supply some information from the console log. Try quitting FM, then open the Console application (which can be found in the Utilities folder inside the Applications folder). Start by choosing Clear Display from the Edit menu, then launch FM. As FM starts up, it should output any issues with the plug-in to the log which will help us to understand what's wrong.
Please give this a try and post the results and we'll see what we can do. My only other quick suggestion is to make sure that the file privileges for SmartPill are set the same as other plug-ins that you may have installed (and that are working correctly).
Thanks,
Micah
1.0
i can't get the current final release to load either except in that i actually get an error message upon loading FM telling me the plugin can't load and I need to check to make sure it's installed correctly. Here's a screenshot of my Extensions folder:

here...
here's what i got:
1/21/08 9:24:11 PM FileMaker Pro[1657] Error loading /Applications/FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced/Extensions/PHP_Intel.fmplugin/Contents/MacOS/PHP_Intel: dlopen(/Applications/FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced/Extensions/PHP_Intel.fmplugin/Contents/MacOS/PHP_Intel, 262): no suitable image found. Did find:
/Applications/FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced/Extensions/PHP_Intel.fmplugin/Contents/MacOS/PHP_Intel: mach-o, but wrong architecture
PPC?
OK, I'm guessing that you're running a PPC machine? If so, you need to download the PPC version instead of the Intel version.
Hopefully that does the trick.

MacBook Pro / Intel
I also had problems with the Intel version of the plug-in working with FileMaker 8 on my Intel MacBook Pro. Installing the PPC version seems to have fixed the issue, but now I get other things that I'm wondering what to do about, such as license error messages when I am using the Testbed v2.
For the first record in the db, I get:
103 License is expired (new license required)
100 Plug-in is not registered
I've requested a 30 day evaluation license to see if that resolves the errors.
Any comments on this issue would be welcomed.
Thanks,
Michael
